This was an extensive renovation project I was part of. The work required me to repair extensive sections of damaged cob and stone walls as well as a complete refurbishment of the inside. Cob blocks and hydraulic lime were used for repairs and a lime putty render including hair was used to create a lovely rustic and natural finish inside and out. A breathable lime wash was used to give the house further protection and colour.
Internally, structural timbers were repaired or replaced and a stunning new ‘old’ oak floor was laid to look original.
