Internal Renovation Works, East Devon

There was a lot of damp and a rendered inglenook fireplace in this country cob and stone cottage. Lime plaster was put on all the internal walls and the fireplace was stripped back and pointed with hydraulic lime to restore loads of the original character of the house.  The lath and plaster ceilings were collapsing which required areas to be replaced completely with new riven laths and haired lime plaster.
